For Thanksgiving in 2009,we loaded up the van(dog included) and drove to Denver to spend a few days with some of our very closest friends the Paynes who we have missed terribly since leaving Denver. Vivian spent the day with an old friend and Jeanine and I took the boys to the zoo. The weather was perfect for a relaxing after noon and since we stayed past dark we got a sneak peak at the holiday zoo lights show without paying for it.
Henderson, Gabriel, and 3 of the 4 Payne boys. Everytime we have ever gone to the Denver Zoo, my kids have climbed on the hippo.
